Our beautifully appointed guesthouse sits on the quiet coastal road between Kivik village and Kiviks Musteri, just 250 metres from the sea. Once known as the Gold Coast, this stretch of southern Sweden is as scenic as it gets.
The guesthouse is 40 sqm with a 12 sqm private sun terrace — morning sun from the east, evening light from the west, and cooling shade at midday. Inside you’ll find oiled oak floors with underfloor heating, dimmable recessed lighting, and adjustable elevation beds. Accommodates 2 guests. Non-smoking, no pets.
Everything is included: bed linen, towels, final cleaning — so you can simply arrive and relax.
Kitchen: microwave, induction hob, kettle, Nespresso machine, and full kitchen equipment. Outdoor kitchen and electric grill on the terrace. 50″ Smart TV with internet. Bicycles available to borrow free of charge.
Around the property:
The property borders an organic orchard to the southeast and a nature reserve to the northwest. To the southwest lies Lilla Stenshuvud, home to Kivik Art Center and architect Gert Wingårdh’s celebrated “stairway to the sky.”
Swimming is possible 250m away along the rocky shoreline — note it’s uneven ground, better suited to adults. The white sandy beaches of Vitemölla are just 2 km away and are ideal for families.
From the guesthouse you can watch buzzards and red kites riding the thermals, hear green woodpeckers in the trees, and spot deer, badgers and the occasional fox on the grounds. We do not farm or keep animals on the property, so it is wonderfully quiet.

Kivik village: 2 km (25–30 min walk / 7 min by bike). En route you’ll pass Kungagraven burial monument and Sågmöllan Café.
Kiviks Musteri (cider & juice estate): 800 m. Restaurant Kärnhuset and Stinas Café are on site.
Stenshuvud National Park: 800 m from the north entrance. Part of Skåneleden walking trail.
Äsperöd Arboretum (exotic gardens, free to visit): 1.5 km.
Simrishamn (nearest town): 18 km, 20 min by car. Hourly bus from Kivik.
Two 18-hole golf courses in Vik: 14 min by car.
In Kivik harbour: Buhre’s Fish & Seafood Restaurant and several other dining options. Sandy beaches begin at the harbour and continue north along Hanö Bay.

To the nearest town Simrishamn it is 18 km and can be reached by car in 20 min. Buses leave from Kivik every hour. Otherwise, the whole of Österlen’s fantastic range of experiences is very concentrated, so it’s not far from what you want.
